【名师讲解】
1. That's right./ That‘s all right./ All right.
That’s right意为“对的”,表示赞同对方的意见、看法或行为,肯定对方的答案或判断。例如:
"I think we must help the old man.""我想我们应该帮助这位老人。"
"That's right."或 "You're right.""说得对"。
That’s all right.意为“不用谢”、“没关系”,用来回答对方的致谢或道歉。例如:
"Many thanks." "That's all right."
"Sorry. It's broken." "That's all right."
All right.意为“行了”、“可以”,表示同意对方的建议或要求。有时还可以表示“身体很好”
"Please tell me about it." "请把此事告诉我。"
"All right.""好吧。"

2. make/do
这两个词都可以解释为“做”,但含义却不同,不能混用。make指做东西或制东西,do指做一件具体的事。
Can you make a paper boat for me? 你能为我做个纸船吗?
He’s doing his homework now.他正在做他的作业。
3. say/speak/talk/tell
say:是最口语化的最普通的一个词,意为“说出”、“说道”,着重所说的话。如:
“I want to go there by bus” , he said . 他说,“我要坐汽车到那里去。”
Please say it in English .请用英语说。
speak : “说话”,着重开口发声,不着重所说的内容,一般用作不及物动词 (即后面不能直接接宾语 ) 。如:
Can you speak about him? 你能不能说说他的情况?
I don’t like to speak like this. 我不喜欢这样说话。
speak 作及物动词解时,只能和某种语言等连用,表达在对话中恰当使用词汇的能力。如:
She speaks English well.她英语说得好。
talk : 与 speak 意义相近,也着重说话的动作,而不着重所说的话,因此,一般也只用作不及物动词, 不过,talk 暗示话是对某人说的,有较强的对话意味,着重指连续地和别人谈话。如:
I would like to talk to him about it . 我想跟他谈那件事。
Old women like to talk with children.老年妇女喜欢和孩子们交谈。
tell : “告诉”,除较少情况外,一般后面总接双宾语。如:
He’s telling me a story.他在给我讲故事。
tell a lie 撒谎
tell sb. to do sth. /tell sb. not to do sth.
Miss Zhao often tells us to study hard.
4. do cooking/ do the cooking
do cooking 作“做饭”解,属泛指。do the cooking 特指某一顿饭或某一家人的饭。cooking为动名词,不能用作复数,但前面可用 some, much修饰。从do some cooking可引出许多类似的短语:
do some washing 洗些衣服
do some shopping 买些东西
do some reading 读书
do some writing 写些东西
do some fishing 钓鱼
从以上短语可引申出另一类短语,不能用some, much或定冠词。
go shopping 去买东西

5. like doing sth./ like to do sth.
like doing sth. 与like to do sth. 意思相同,但用法有区别。前者强调一般性的爱好或者表示动作的习惯性和经常性;后来表示一次性和偶然性的动作。例如:
He likes playing football, but he doesn‘t like to play football with Li Ming.
他喜欢踢足球,但是他不喜欢和李明踢。
6. other/ others/ the other/ another
other表其余的,别的,

7. in the tree/ on the tree
in the tree 与 on the tree.译成中文均为"在树上"但英语中有区别。in the tree表示某人、某事(不属于树本身生长出的别的东西)落在树上,表示树的枝、叶、花、果等长在树上时,要使用on the tree.如:
There are some apples on the tree. 那棵树上有些苹果。
There is a bird in the tree. 那棵树上有只鸟。
8. some/ any
(1)some和 any既可修饰可数名词,也可修饰不可数名词。但有以下两点需要
注意。
some常用于肯定句中,any常用于否定句和疑问句中。如:
There is some water in the glass.
Is there any water in the glass?
There isn't any water in the glass.
(2)在说话者希望得到肯定答复的一般疑问句中,或在表示请求,邀请的疑问句中,我们依然用some。如:
Would you like some tea?
9. tall/ high
(1)说人,动物,树木等有生命的东西,主要用tall,不用high,例如
a tall woman 一个高个子妇女
a tall horse 一个高大的马
(2)说一个不与地面接触的人和物的高时,要用high,而不用tall,比如人站在桌子上时,飞机飞上天时,例如:
He is high up in the tree. 他高高地爬在树上。
The plane is so high in the sky. 飞机在空中这么高。
(3)指建筑物、山时要tall或high都可以,不过high的程度比tall高。
(4)high可作副词,tall不能。
(5)tall的反义词为short, high的反义词为low.
10. can/ could
(1) can表示体力和脑力方面的能力,或根据客观条件能做某种动作的"能力
"。例如:
Can you ride a bike? 你会骑自行车吗?
What can I do for you? 要帮忙吗?
Can you make a cake?你会做蛋糕吗?
(2) can用在否定句和疑问句中时有时表示说话人的"怀疑""猜测"或不肯定。例如:
Where can he be?他会在什么地方呢?
Can the news be true?这个消息会是真的吗?
It surely can't be six o'clock already?不可能已经六点钟了吧?
You can't be hungry so soon,Tom,you've just had lunch.汤姆,你不可能饿得这么快,你刚吃过午饭。
What can he mean?他会是什么意思?
在日常会话中,can可代替may表示"允许",may比较正式。例如:
You can come in any time.你随时都可以来。
--- Can I use your pen?我能用你的钢笔吗?
--- Of course,you can.当然可以。
You can have my seat,I'm going now.我要走了,你坐我的座位吧。
(3) could
could 是 can的过去式,表示过去有过的能力和可能性(在否定和疑问句中)。例如:
The doctor said he could help him.(能力)医生说他能帮助他。
Lily could swim when she was four years old.(能力)
当丽丽四岁的时候她就会游泳。
At that time we thought the story could be true.(可能性)
那时我们以为所说的可能是真的。
could可代替can表示现在时间的动作,但语气较为婉转。例如:
Could I speak to John,please?我能和约翰说话吗?
Could you?在口语中表示请求对方做事。例如:
Could you wait half an hour?请你等半个小时好吗?
Could you please ring again at six?六点钟请你再打电话好吗?
(4) can的形式
只有现在式can和过去式could两种形式。能表示一般现在和一般过去两种时态,有时也能表示将来。所有其他时态(包括将来时)须用be able to加动词不定式来表示。例如:
They have not been able to come to Beijing.
他们没有能到北京来。
11. look for/ find
look for 意为“寻找”,而find意为“找到,发现”,前者强调“找”这一动作,并不注重“找”的结果,而后者则强调“找”的结果。例如:
She can’t find her ruler. 她找不到她的尺子啦。
Tom is looking for his watch,but he can’t find it.汤姆正在寻找他的手表,但没能找到。
12. be sleeping/ be asleep
be sleeping 表示动作,意思是“正在睡觉”;be asleep 表示状态,意思是“睡着了”。如:
---What are the children doing in the room? 孩子们在房间里做什么?
---They are sleeping.他们正在睡觉。
The children are asleep now.现在孩子们睡着了。
13. often/ usually/sometimes
often表示"经常",sometimes表示"有时候",在表示发生频率上often要高于usually,usually要高于sometimes。这三个词表示的是经常性,一般性的动作或情况,常与一般现在时连用,常位于主要谓语动词的前面,其他谓语动词(be动词,情态动词和助动词)的后面,有时也可位于句尾。如果要加强语气,则放在句首。
We usually play basketball after school.我们通常放学后打篮球。
Sometimes I go to bed early.有时,我睡觉很早。
He often reads English in the morning.他经常在早晨读英语。
14. How much/ How many
how much常用来询问某一商品的价格,常见句式是How much is / are…?
How much is the skirt? 这条裙子多少钱?
How much are the bananas? 这些香蕉多少钱?
how much后加不可数名词,表示数量,意为“多少“,how many后加可数名词的复数形式。
How much meat do you want? 你要多少肉呀?
How many students are there in your class? 你们班有多少人?
15. be good for/ be good to/ be good at
be good for 表示"对……有好处",而be bad for表示"对……有害";be good to表示"对……友好",而be bad to表示"对……不好";be good at表示"擅长,在……方面做得好",而be bad at表示"在……方面做得不好"。
Doing eye exercises is good for your eyes.做眼保健操对你的眼睛有好处。
Eating too much is bad for you health.吃的太多对你的身体有害。
Miss Li is good to all of us.李老师对我们所有的人都很友好。
The boss is bad to his workers.这个老板对他的工人不好。
Li Lei is good at drawing, but I'm bad at it.李雷擅长画画,但是我不擅长。
16. each/ every
each 和every都有"每一个"的意思,但含义和用法不相同。each从个体着眼,every从整体着眼。each 可用于两者或两者以上,every只用于三者或三者以上。
We each have a new book.
我们每人各有一本新书。
There are trees on each side of the street.
街的两旁有树。
He gets up early every morning.
每天早晨他都起得早。
each可以用作形容词、副词和代词;every只能用作形容词。
Each of them has his own ty.
他们各人有各人的义务。

17. 一般现在时/现在进行时
一般现在时表示经常性的或习惯性的动作或存在的状态,也表示说话者的能力,还有自然现象;而现在进行时表示正在进行或发生的动作(构成方式为am/is /are/+doing)。
I do my homework in the evening.
我在晚上做作业。
I'm doing my homework now.
我现在正在做作业。
现在进行时常与now, these days, at the moment 或Look, listen等词连用;而一般现在时常与often, always, sometimes, usually, every day, in the morning, on Mondays等连用。

Pidgin English 而这个词指的是洋泾浜英语 是解放前在上海洋泾浜地区流传的一种中式英语,也泛指所有中式英语。例如, 上海话中的洋泾浜英语
【产生】
上海的租界建立以后,原开设在广州、香港、澳门、南洋等地的洋行,以及在本土的外国公司纷纷转迁上海或在上海设立分支机构。由于中西语言上的隔阂,一些原在洋行任职、粗通英语的广东籍买办也随着洋行进入上海充当外国人翻译或华洋贸易的中介人。同时,上海的本土及其他籍商人为了能与外商直接往来跻身上流社会,开始学习简单的英语会话。从此,上海地区开始流行带有浓重乡音而又不遵照英语语法的中国英语,即“洋泾浜英语”。姚公鹤先生在《上海闲话》一书中是这样对洋泾浜英语下定义的:“洋泾浜话者,用英文之音,而以中国文法出之也(姚,P18)。”相传,从事此业者有三十六人,名曰“露天通事”,他们大多为无业泼皮、马夫之流。当遇到外国水手或初到上海的洋商外出购物时,他们就自荐做外国人的向导,从中渔利。其实“露天通事”素以无赖着名,究竟是否只有三十六人,并无正史为证。只不过像郑子明、范高头等着名人士有三十六人,而事实上其他无名泼皮者甚众乃至无法统计。
外国人初来上海时,华人与洋人打交道,语言的读音还能学舌,而外文字却难以摹拟。于是有些聪明人就以中文部首中的丶丨丿一凵等代替英文的二十六个字母。据说,小刀会起义期间,小刀会与租界的书信往来就是用中文部首的英文写成的,而且还真的避开了清政府的耳目。这或许也可以称之为“洋泾浜英语”,只不过由口头形式转向了书面形式。
李敖也曾在《鸽子·囮子·凯子——狱中给女儿的信选刊三十七》一信中谈及洋泾浜英语,信中颇有嘲笑的意味:“Pigeon-English也叫Pidgin-English,就是洋泾浜英文,洋泾浜是上海附近的一个地方,最早跟英国人做生意的中国人,说英文说不好,自己用中文的意思造出不通的英文,就叫洋泾浜英文。比如说‘人山人海’该是英文的huge crowds,但说成people-mountain-people-sea,就是笑话了,这就是洋泾浜英文。”
“洋泾浜”三字集中地反映了租界华洋杂处的社会文化特征,在上海地区英文专修学校和更高级的大学尚未成立时,来自不同国度的人们和本地居民普遍都使用这种语言。在英文中,所谓的洋泾浜语被称为Pigeon English,即“鸽子英文”,也叫Pidgin,即皮钦语,转指不同语种的人们在商业交往中发展而成的混杂语言。这种沪版皮钦语一度广泛使用于沪上,连正宗的英国佬到上海落脚,也得先从师学几个月“洋泾浜话”,这样才算通过初步的语言关。对普通的上海市民而言,掌握洋泾浜英语的难度似乎并不太大。由民国时人汪仲贤撰文的《上海俗语图说》中曾记载了洋泾浜歌诀:
来是“康姆”去是“谷”,廿四铜钿“吞的福”;
是叫“也司”勿叫“拿”,如此如此“沙咸鱼沙”(So and so);
真崭实货“佛立谷”,靴叫“蒲脱”鞋叫“靴”;
洋行买办“江摆渡”,小火轮叫“司汀巴”;
“翘梯翘梯”请吃茶,“雪堂雪堂”请侬坐;
烘山芋叫“扑铁秃”,东洋车子“力克靴”;
打屁股叫“班蒲曲”,混帐王八“蛋风炉”;
“那摩温”先生是阿大,跑街先生“杀老夫”;
“麦克麦克”钞票多,“毕的生司”当票多;
红头阿三“开泼度”(Keep door),自家兄弟“勃拉茶”;
爷要“发茶”娘“卖茶”,丈人阿伯“发音落”

也有的类似歌诀中加上“一元洋钿 ‘温得拉’(one dollar)”的内容,大同小异,但有一点得清楚,就是该歌诀须用宁波人的甬音念来,更为原汁原味。这也间接反映了宁波生意人在上海滩的地位。一般在上海市民观念中地位较低的“江北人”,在生活中使用洋泾浜语的机会要少得多,即使有拉黄包车的脚夫和洋顾客讨价还价,有时做个手势也就足矣。倒是一些洋商开办的工厂里,由于许多工作用语和器具材料皆为舶来品,不少老工人在干活中,往往会夹杂一些洋泾浜语。例如在旧上海闸北电厂,常能听到诸如“格只凡尔(valve阀门)要修了”,“做只猛格”(mark做个标记)等话语,有时需要到车间里楼梯小平台干活,大家也都习用“格兰汀”来形容,即指“go to landing”之意。这种在上海工厂中形成的特殊语境,与讲话人自己是否明白英文原意己完全无关。
喜欢在嘴里吐出一些洋泾浜英文字句的人,多半对英文一窍不通,才会人云亦云地凑几句来赶时髦。例如:
——外国主人回家,看见玻璃窗打碎了,便问仆人缘故,仆人很流利地用“洋泾浜”回答:“inside(里面)吱吱吱,outside(外面)喵喵喵,glass(玻璃)克郎当!”洋主人一听就乐了,原来是猫抓老鼠闯的祸。
——洋行老板让中国司机到大光明电影院买电影票,司机空手而归,指手画脚地告诉老板:“Man mountain man sea,today no see,tomorrow see,tomorrow see,same see!”老板也听懂了:人山人海,今天看不成了,明天看吧,明天看,还是那个影片!
据近人研究,洋泾浜语主要有以下两个特征:首先是植入的英语词汇有限,大概在七百余个单词,所以一词多用和一音多义现象严重,如my可以与I,we, mine,ours等同义通用,同样“店、船、夷皂、羊、汤、样,少破能该六字云”,即shop,ship,soap,sheep,soup,sample一律读作“少破”;其次为英语语法中国化,一般不使用介词,如把“很久没有见到你”说成“long time no see you”等。
【掌故】
洋泾浜英语在当时上海人生活中的应用随着洋泾浜语的普及而不断增多,而且同一个词会不断演绎以应用到各个方面,例如用“邓路普”暗指人厚颜无耻(“邓路普”为英国生产的轮胎品牌,因其质量好故当时人认为其橡胶很厚,其实邓路普轮胎是质薄而牢固的)。大抵在16世纪末到18世纪中叶,在广州口岸的中国人与西方人进行商业交往的语言称“广东葡语”,使用广州话注音。《澳门记略·澳译》即列举杨炳南口述、为清谢清高笔录的“广东葡语”,如国土称“哩”,公主称“必林梭使(princesa)”,首相称“善施(chancelle)”等。18世纪中叶以后,英语地位压倒葡语,于是产生以广东土音注读英语的所谓“广东英语”(西洋人称为Canton English)。这种“广东英语”为汉语和外语混杂的产物,也是中西文化交流初期的产物。
【消逝】
“洋泾浜英语”毕竟是非正规语言,只能限于一时一地。二十世纪初以后,一方面随着留洋学生的大批归国,另一方面由于外语学校的普遍出现,中西文化交流进一步深入,它已成为沪上人士形容不伦不类的人或事的代名词,带有明显的贬义。洋泾浜语在文化层次高的群体中逐渐消失,但仍在部分文化层次不高的群体中使用,并流传至今。
【现状】
直到今天,你还能听到有人把“给你点颜色看看”说成“Give you some colour see see.”笔者高中时一同学则更进步一些,在此说法上加了个介词“to”,即“Give you some colour to see see.”三块肉喂你妈吃(Thank you very much)

used to 的用法:(1)肯定句:used这个词没有人称的变化,to后面接动词原形。 否定句是didn’t use to….
When I was a child, I didn’t use to like apples.当我还是孩子的时候我不喜欢苹果.
疑问形式是Did you use to…?Where did you use to live before you came here?当你来这儿之前你住哪儿?
(2)含有used to 的句子的反意疑问句不要usedn’t + 主语,而用didn’t + 主语。He used to smoke, didn’t he? 他过去常常吸烟,是吗?Yes, he did./ No, he didn’t. 是的,他吸。/ 不,他不吸。
(3)used to 表示过去的习惯动作, 而不是现在的。I am used to the weather here. 我已经习惯于这里的天气了。He is used to hard work. 他习惯于艰苦的工作。
(4)used to 可以和be, have 以及其他状态动词连用,描写过去的状态。 I used to be a waiter, but now I’m a taxi-driver.我过去是一个服务员,但现在我是出租车司机。
★ 本单元的许多运用used to 的句子属于描述过去的状态。Mario used to be short. 马力奥过去总是很矮。Amy used to be outgoing. 爱米过去性格外向。Tina used to have long and straight hair.蒂娜过去有一头直的长头发。He used to wear black shoes. 他过去常穿黑鞋。

一、被动语态的句式变化:

虚拟语气:如果我们所说的不是事实,也不是要求、命令、劝告等,而只是一种假设、愿望、建议或是一种实现不了的空想就用虚拟语气
注意:条件句分两种,真实条件句和虚拟条件句。只有在虚拟(非真实)条件句中,才用虚拟语气,而在真实条件句中,要用陈述语气。
请比较:
(1)If it is sunny tomorrow , we’ll go to the zoo.
如果明天天气好,我们将会去公园。在这句话中,明天天气好是完全有可能实现的,并非虚拟、幻想,因此是真实条件句。在本句中,适用“主将从现。”
(2)If I were you , I would go at once.
(如果我是你的话,我立刻就走。)在这句话中,条件句,“如果我是你”,但事实上,我不可能成为你,这只是假设的情况,没有实现的可能。当条件实现的可能性很小,甚至可以说没有时,就需要用虚拟语气来表示,动词发生了变化。
也就是说虚拟语气表示和现实的事实相反时,从句用一般过时。
主句用 “should/would/could/ might +动词原形。
1.If I had time, I would go for a walk.
2.If I were invited, I would go to the dinner party.
3.If I won a million dollars in the lottery, I would put it in the bank.

在选择引导定语从句的关系代词时,有如下要点:

2 当先行词指人时,关系代词可用who(做主语,宾语),that(做主语,宾语),whom(作宾语),whose(作定语)

(1)引导以 not only …but (also)… 开头的句子往往引起部分倒装。

把前面的句子中的助动词或者是情态动词放在主语的前面。如:
①Not only can I do it but (also) I can do best. 我不仅能做到而且做得最好。
⑵Not only…but (also)… 接两主语时,谓语动词随后面的主语人称和数的变化 也就是就近原则 如:
①Not only Lily but (also) you like cat. 不仅莉莉而且你也喜欢猫。
②Not only you but (also) Lily likes cat. 不仅你而且莉莉喜欢猫。
常见的就近原则的结构有:

1、宾语从句
A.宾语从句:宾语从句在复合句中作主句的宾语,引导宾语从句的关联词有that, if/whether, what, who, whose, which, why, when, where, how等。
1、连接词
1)由连接词that引导陈述句,在口语中that常省略。
eg. He said that he would like to see the headmaster.
2)由连接词whether/if引导一般疑问句,whether和if 常可互换,但下列场合一般用whether.
①介词后的宾语从句:I'm thinking of whether he'll come.
②与or not连用:I don't know whether I should go or not.
3)由连接代词what, who(whom,whose)which或连接副词when, where, why,how引导特殊疑问句。 eg. Do you know who/whom she is waiting for?
2、语序:
不管宾语从句是陈述句、一般疑问句或特殊疑问句,都要用陈述句语序,也就是说主谓次序不能颠倒。连接词+主谓结构
(1).Bill wanted to know who did this. (2).I don't know what's the matter with Bob?
(3).I don't know what's wrong with them?
3、时态:
一般说来,主从句时态要统一。如果主句是一般现在时,从句可根据需要用其它任何时态;如果主句是一般过去时,从句应该用相应的过去时态范畴(也就是用一般过去时,过去进行时,过去将来时,过去完成时)。
eg.①Lily wanted to know whether her grandma liked the handbag. ②I asked the teacher where we would have the meeting. ③Could you tell me how I can get to the zoo?
如果从句表明的是一个客观事实或真理,那么无论主句是什么时态,从句都只能用一般现在时。 eg. The teacher told us that light travels much faster than sound.
注意:在think后的宾语从句,如果需要表示否定意义,一般不在宾语从句中否定,而是在主句中否定。 eg. I don’t think that English is easy. I think that English is not easy. ( 误)

现在完成时是由“助动词have(has)+动词过去分词”构成。
用法: 1.表示过去发生的某一动作对现在造成的影响或结果,常与一些时间状语,如:already, yet, ever, never, just, before, once, twice等连用,也可以和包括现在在内的时间状语,如these days, today, this year, so far等连用.eg.I have already posted the letter. (信已经不在我这儿了)
★注意:在这里要注意already和yet的辨析:
★①already通常用于肯定句。 I have already told him.我已经告诉他了. I have already put it in my suitcase. 我已经把它放进我的手提箱了.
★②yet常用于疑问句和否定句。 ----Have you watered the tree yet? 你浇树了吗? ----Yes,I have already watered it. 我浇了. ----Have you fed the dog? 你喂过狗了吗? ----No. I haven’t fed it yet.没有,我没喂. 2.表示过去发生的动作或存在的状态,一直持续到现在,也许还将继续下去,可以和表示从过去某一时刻延续到现在的一段时间的状语连用,即for +时间段,since+时间点/从句, in the last ten years等,谓语只可用延续性动词.
解析: 1.英语动词根据词义可分为两种,一种是延续性的,一种是终止性的,终止性动词(也可称为非延续性动词,瞬间动词,或点动词),如begin,start,die,buy,leave, come等,表示动作的发生与结束于一瞬间完成,不能再延续,所以它的现在完成时不能和表示延续的时间状语连用,即不能与表示一段时间的状语,for+时间段, since+时间点/从句连用,也不能用在how long引导的特殊疑问句中.
eg. I've left Shanghai for three days.(×) I've been away from Shanghai for three days.( √ ).
I left Shanghai three days ago. ( √ ) It is /has been three days since I left Shanghai.( √ )
2.初中英语课本中常见终止性动词有:leave, go, come, arrive, begin, buy, borrow, die, join, become等.终止性动词要表示持续时, 可用以下方法:
⑴.将时间状语改为时间段 + ago,句中谓语动词用一般过去时.
eg.我弟弟参军两年了. My brother joined the army two years ago.
⑵.若保留for+时间段,since+时间点/从句, 或用在 how long 句型中,则需将终止性动词改为相应的状态动词或延续性动词
★常见终止性动词与延续性动词(或状态动词)的对应关系如下:
come/go/arrive/get/reach/move------be in/at open-----be open

3.现在完成时中been to, gone to和been in/at been to去过某地,表示某人的一种经历,可以和once, twice, already, ever, never等连用.
4.现在完成时中的 for 与 since
for + 时间段 与延续性动词的现在完成时连用 since + 时间点/从句
I have kept the library book for a week.= I have kept the library book since a week ago. 5. It is /has been +一段时间 + since 从句.自从某事发生已有一段时间了. eg. It is /has been two years since my brother joined the army. 注意:1.since 引导的从句中动词用过去时

一般将来时
一般将来时表示将来某个时间要发生的动作或者存在的状态。通常与表示将来的时间状语连用,如tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, next year, next month, next week, in 100 years等。
be going to do (动词原形)结构:表示打算、准备做的事情或者肯定要发生的事情。如:It is going to rain.
will do 结构表示将来的用法:
1. 表示预见
Do you think it will rain?
You will feel better after a good rest.
2. 表示意图
I will borrow a book from our school library tomorrow.
What will she do tomorrow?
基本构成如下:
一般疑问句构成:
(1)will+主语+do…? Will Sarah come to visit me next Sunday?

过去进行时

1. 构成

They were playing football all afternoon.
all afternoon是时间段
2. 过去进行时的标志词
at 8 o’clock last night, this time yesterday等。例如:
I was having lunch at home this time yesterday.

At that time she was writing a book.

(一)题型分类与特点
完形填空试题是在给出的一篇短文中有目的地拿掉若干个词,留下一些空格,要求考生借助短文保留的部分,从所给的短文整体出发,在正确理解短文意思的基础上,根据句子和句子间的内在联系、词的用法和习惯搭配等,用适当的词或词语填空,使补全后的短文意思通顺、前后连贯、结构完整。这种题型测试的内容从形式上看是单词或短语的填空,但它必须注意到短文中上、下文意思连贯、词语搭配和语法结构正确,所以在空格上所填的词必须符合语义适用和语法正确两条原则,只考虑某一侧面都可能导致错误。中考中完形填空试题的基本题型分两类:完形填空选择题和完形填空题。
1. 完形填空选择题:该题型的特点是将一篇短文中若干词语抽掉留下空格,对每一空格提供若干个选择项,要求考生通读短文后,在理解短文意思的基础上,运用所学的词汇、句型、语法等语言知识,从所提供的备选项中选出一个最佳答案,使短文内容完整正确。中考完形填空主要以这种题型为主。它所给的短文一般与初中英语教材难易程度相当,字数在150-200个单词之内,多数设置10个左右空格,所设考点涉及词汇、语法及对短文内容的理解。短文的第一句一般不设空,以期提供一个语境,对每一空格设置的选项基本都属于相同或对等的词类,给判定选择带来一定的干扰,侧重考查了考生准确运用词汇的能力及对短文的整体理解和逻辑推理能力。
完形填空选择题的一般解题思路是:
1. 跳过空格、通读全文、把握大意。先跳过空格,通读试题所给的要完形填空的短文,获得整体印象,做到弄清文脉、抓住主旨,较好地把握短文大意。要在阅读理解短文意思的基础上才开始判定选择,切忌仓促下笔。
2. 结合选项、综合考虑、初定答案。在理解全文意思的基础上,再结合所给备选项细读全文,联系上、下文内容,注意从上、下文的语法结构和词语搭配及从选择项中寻找解题的提示,以词、句的意义为先,再从分析句子结构入手,根据短文意思、语法规则、词语固定搭配等进行综合考虑,对备选项逐一进行分析、比较和筛选,排除干扰项、初步选定答案。
3. 瞻前顾后、先易后难、各个击破。动笔时要瞻前顾后、通篇考虑、先易后难。对比较明显直接的、自己最有把握的答案先做,一下子不能确定答案的,先跳过这一空格,继续往下做,最后回过头来再集中精力解决难点。这时可结合已确定答案的选项再读一遍短文,随着对短文理解的深入,可以降低试题的难度,提高选择的正确率。
4. 复读全文、逐空验证、弥补疏漏。完成各道题选择后,把所选的答案代入原文,再把全文通读一篇,逐空认真复查。看所选定的答案是否使短文意思前后连贯、顺理成章,语法结构是否正确,是否符合习惯表达法。如发现错误答案或有疑问的,应再次推敲、反复斟酌、做出修正。
完形填空试题的一般解题思路是:
1. 跳过空格、通读短文、了解大意。解题时先跳过空格,通读完形填空的短文,了解全篇的内容和要旨。要重视首句,善于以首句的时态、语气为立足点,理清文脉,推测全文主题及大意。
2. 复读短文、确定语义、判断词形。把握短文大意后再认真复读短文,利用上下文的语境,结合所学过的知识,先确定空格处所需词语的意义,再根据空格在句子中的位置,判断其在句中充当的成分,从而确定所填词的词性,再依据词语搭配和语法规则,判断所填的词的正确形式。
3. 三读短文、上下参照、验证答案。在短文的每一空白处填上一个词后,将完成的短文再细读一遍,上下参照,连贯思考。把所填的答案放入短文中进行检验,可从上、下文内容是否协调一致、顺理成章,语法结构是否正确无误等进行综合验证,凡有疑问必须重新推敲考虑。
