一. 形容词/副词的比较级和最高级

1. 形容词/副词的比较级和最高级的构成规则

(1)单音节词和少数以-er,-ow结尾的双音节单词,比较级在后面加-er,最高级在后面加-est。

① 单音节单词

small→smaller→smallest

short→shorter→shortest

tall→taller→tallest

great→greater→greatest

② 少数以-er,-ow结尾的双音节单词

clever→cleverer→cleverest

narrow→narrower→narrowest

(2)以不发音e结尾的单音节单词,比较级在原形后加-r,最高级在原级后加-st。

large→larger→largest

nice→nicer→nicest

able→abler→ablest

(3)以一个辅音字母结尾的闭音节(即:辅音+元音+辅音)单词中,先双写末尾的辅音字母,比较级加-er,最高级加-est。

big→bigger→biggest

hot→hotter→hottest

fat→fatter→fattest

(4)以“辅音字母+y”结尾的双音节词, 把y改为i,比较级加-er,最高级加-est。

easy→easier→easiest

heavy→heavier→heaviest

(5)其他双音节词和多音节词,比较级在前面加more,最高级在前面加most。

beautiful→more beautiful→most beautiful

(6)有少数形容词、副词的比较级和最高级是不规则的,必须熟记。

2. 形容词和副词比较级的用法

(1)“甲+be+(倍数)+形容词比较级+than+乙”表示“甲比乙…”或“甲比乙…几倍”。

Tom is taller than Kate.

汤姆比凯特高。

This room is three times bigger than that one.

这个房间比那个大三倍。

(2)“甲+实意动词+(倍数)+副词比较级+than+乙”表示“甲比乙…”或“甲比乙…几倍”。

I got up earlier than my mother this morning.

我今天早晨起床比我妈妈还早。

He runs three times faster than his brother.

他跑的速度比他弟弟快三倍。

3. 形容词和副词最高级的用法

(1)“主语+be+the+形容词最高级(+单数名词)+in/of...”表示“……是……中最……的”。

Tom is the tallest in his class./of all the students.

汤姆是他们班上/所有学生当中最高的。

This apple is the biggest of the five.

这个苹果是五个当中最大的。

(2)“主语+实意动词+(the)+副词最高级+in/of...”表示“……是……中最……的”。

I jump (the) farthest in my class.

我是我们班跳得最远的。

二. 句子成分

1.主语:句子所陈述的对象。

2.谓语:主语发出的动作。一般是有动作意义的动词。

3. 宾语:分为动词宾语和介词宾语,属于动作的承受者。

4. 系动词:表示状态或状态变化的动词,没有实际的动作意义。如 be, 感官系动词(look, sound, smell, taste 和 feel)、保持类系动词(keep, stay 和 remain)、状态变化类系动词(become、get、turn 和 go)等。

5. 表语:紧跟系动词后面的成分。

6. 定语:修饰名词或代词的成分。

7. 状语: 修饰形容词、副词、动词或句子的成分。

8. 补语:分为宾语补足语和主语补足语。是对宾语和主语的补充说明,与其有主动或被动的逻辑关系。

例如:You should keep the room clean and tidy.

你应该让屋子保持干净整洁。

(You是主语, should keep是谓语,the room是宾语,clean and tidy是宾语补足语。)

This kind of food tastes delicious.

这种食物吃起来很可口。

(This kind of food是主语, tastes是系动词, delicious是表语。)

注意:主语、谓语、宾语、系动词、表语、补语是一个句子的主干成分;定语和状语是一个句子的修饰性成分,不是主干成分。

三. 句子类型

1. 简单句的基本形式是由一个主语加一个谓语构成。

2. 复合句由一个主句和一个或一个以上的从句构成。

3. 两个或两个以上的简单句用并列连词连在一起构成的句子,叫做并列句,其基本结构是“简单句+并列连词+简单句”。

四. 简单句的五种基本句型

1.“主语 + 谓语”(即“主谓”句型)

例:They arrived in Harbin yesterday morning.

分析:“they”(主语)“arrived”(谓语)。

2.“主语 + 谓语 + 宾语”(即“主谓宾”句型)

例:I study English.

分析:“I”(主语)“study”(谓语动作)“English”(宾语即动作涉及的对象)。

3.“主语 + 谓语 + 间接宾语 + 直接宾语”(即“主谓双宾”句型)

例:Our teacher taught us English.

分析:“our teacher”(主语)“教”(谓语动作)“us”(间接宾语)“English”(直接宾语)。

4.“主语 + 谓语 + 宾语 + 宾语补足语”(即“主谓宾宾补”句型)

例: He asked her to go there.

分析:“he”(主语)“asked”(谓语动作)“her”(宾语即动作涉及的对象)“to go there”(补语—补充说明宾语做什么)。

5.“主语 + 系动词+ 表语”(即“主系表”句型)

常用的系动词有be, keep,lie, remain, stand, become, fall, get, go, grow, turn, look, feel, seem, smell, sound, taste, 等。

例: I am a teacher. 我是一名老师

分析:“I”(主语)“am”(系动词)“a teacher”(表语—即表明主语的身份)。

五. 宾语从句

1. 宾语从句的含义

在主句中做宾语的从句叫做宾语从句。

如:She knew that the teacher had seen the film.

她知道这位老师看过这部电影。

“that the teacher had seen the film”做 knew 的宾语,同时又是由连接词 that 引导的从句,所以它叫做宾语从句。

2. 宾语从句的分类

(1)动词宾语从句:顾名思义,它是位于动词后面的宾语从句。

如:He asked whose handwriting was the best in our class.他问我们班上谁的书法最好。

(2)介词宾语从句:顾名思义,它是位于介词后面的宾语从句。

如:I agree with what you said just now.我同意你刚才说的话。

(3)形容词宾语从句:顾名思义,它是位于形容词后面的宾语从句。

如:I am afraid that I will be late. 恐怕我要迟到了。

3. 引导名词性从句的连接词

(1)that:没有含义,在宾语从句中不做成分

(2)whether/if:表示是否,在宾语从句中不做成分。

I don't know if /whether he still lives here after so many years. 我不知道这么多年后,他是否还住在这里。

(3)连接代词:what, which, who, whom, whose(在宾语从句中做主、宾、表和定语)

连接副词:where, when, how, why(在宾语从句中做状语)

The small children don't know what is in their stockings.(what 在宾语从句中做主语)

这些小孩子不知道什么在他们的长筒袜里。

Could you tell me why you were late for the meeting this morning?(why 在宾语从句中做原因状语)

你能告诉我为什么你今天早上开会迟到吗?

4. 在做宾语从句的题目时应注意两点

(1)时态:

①当主句是现在时态时,宾语从句可以根据需要使用任何时态。

I don't know when he will come back.我不知道他将何时回来。

He tells me that his sister came back yesterday.他告诉我他姐姐昨天回来了。

②当主句是过去时态时,宾语从句必须是一种过去的时态。

She asked me if I knew whose pen it was.她问我是否知道这是谁的钢笔。

He said that he could finish his work before supper.他说他会在晚饭前完成工作。

③当表示客观事实或普遍真理的句子做宾语从句时,任何时候都用一般现在时。

The teacher said that the earth goes round the sun.老师说过地球绕着太阳转。

(2)语序:任何从句都使用陈述句语序,宾语从句当然也不例外。

重点句型:

一、 have fun doing sth.

【句型介绍】 意为"做某事有乐趣",其中have fun 相当于enjoy oneself,表示过得愉快。

1. 英语中的集体名词,如family, class, team等作主语时,若作为一个整体看,其后的谓语动词用单数;若强调其组成成员,谓语动词用复数。如:

My family is a happy one. 我家是个幸福的家庭。

My family are all watching TV. 我们全家人都在看电视。

2. 在比较级中,要注意than后面人称代词的格。

1)当句子中的谓语动词是不及物动词时,than后面的代词用主格还是宾格,在意思上通常没有区别。如:

He runs faster than I / me. 他跑得比我快。

They get to school earlier than we / us every day. 他们每天都比我们到校早。

2)当句中的谓语动词是及物动词时,than后面的人称代词用主格还是宾格在意思上就有差别了。试比较:

I like you more than he. (=I like you more than he likes you.) 我比他更喜欢你。

I like you more than him. (=I like you more than I like him.) 你和他相比,我更喜欢你。

二、 But I don't know what to do.

【句型介绍】 疑问词 + 不定式可作主语、宾语或表语。

I don't know how to get her help. 我不知道怎样才能得到她的帮助。

Where to buy this kind of seed is unknown to me. 我不知道去哪儿购买这种种子。

My question is when to leave for Tokyo. 我的问题是什么时候去东京。

三、 This is ... speaking.

【句型介绍】 该句为打电话用语,用来进行自我介绍,This代表我,speaking可以省去。

Hello! This is Tom (speaking). 你好,我是汤姆。

【句式比较】 Who is that (speaking)? 你是谁?that用来询问对方是谁,speaking可以省去。 Is that ... (speaking)? 你是......吗?that也用来询问对方是谁, speaking也可以省去。

1. on the street / in the street

表示“在街上”时,on the street 和 in the street 都可以,在美国多用on the street, 在英国多用in the street. 例如:We have a house in the street. 我们在街上有座房子。I met him on the street. 我在街上遇见了他。

2. would like / like

would like 和 like含义不同。like 意思是“喜欢”,“ 爱好 ”,而 would like 意思是“想要”。试比较: I like beer.=I’m fond of beer. 我喜欢喝啤酒。I’d like a glass of beer= I want a glass of beer. 我想要一杯啤酒。Do you like going to the cinema? 你喜欢看电影吗?Would you like to go to the cinema tonight? 你今晚想去看电影吗?

3. another / the other

(1)another 通常用于三个或三个以上或不确定数量中的任意一个人或 物体。 例如:

May I have another apple, please? 请在给我一个苹果好吗?

This coat is too small for me. Please show me another这件外套我穿太小,请再给我拿一件看看。

(2)the other 通常指两者中的另一个。例如:

He has two rulers. One is short. The other is long. 他有两把尺子,一把短的,另一把长的。 I have two brothers. One works in Xi’an . The other works in Beijing. 我有两个兄弟,一个在西安工作,另一个在北京工作。

4. have to /must

(1)have to和 must 都可以用来谈论义务,但用法略有不同。如果某人主观上觉得必须去做而又想去时,常用must。如果谈论某种来自“外界”的义务,常用have to。例如:I must stop smoking. 我必须戒烟。(自己想戒烟)They have to work for the boss.他们不得不为那个老板工作。(条件逼得他们去工作)

(2)have to 可用于多种时态,must 只能用于一般现在时。例如:

I’ll have to get up early tomorrow morning.明天早晨我必须早早起床。We had to work long hours every day in order to get more money.为了多挣钱,我们不得不每天长时间地工作。

(3)用于否定句时,mustn’t意思是“决不能”,“禁止”,而don’t have to意思是“不必”,相当于needn’t。例如:You mustn’t be late again next time.下一次你决不能再迟到。You don’t have to go there today. You can go there tomorrow.你今天不必到那里去了。你可以明天去。

5. hear sb. or sth.doing sth. / hear sb. or sth. do sth.

hear sb. or sth.doing sth.意思是“听到某人或某物在做某事”,而hear sb. or sth. do sth.意思“听到某人或某物做过某事”。试比较:I hear him singing an English song.听见他在唱英歌曲。

I heard him sing an English song.我听见他唱一首英文歌。

类似hear 这种用法的还有see, watch, listen, feel等感官动词。

6. any /some

any和some 都可以同不可数名词和可数名词的复数形式连用,但some一般用在肯定句中;any用在疑问句和否定句中。试比较:I want some money. 我想要点钱。Have you any money? 你有钱吗?I don’t have any money. 我一点钱也没有。

some 有时也用于疑问句,表示说话人期待一个肯定回答或鼓励人家说“是”。例如:

Would you like some more beer?请你再来点啤酒好吗?

Could I have some rice, please?请给我来点米饭好吗?

7. hear /listen to

listen to 和hear 都有“听”的意思,但含义有所不同。Listen to强调“听”的动作,hear 强调“听”的结果。例如:Listen to me ,please! I’m going to tell you a story. 请听我说!我给你们讲个 故事 。

Listen! Can you hear someone crying in the next room? 听!你能听见有人在隔壁房间里哭吗?

I listened, but heard nothing.我听了听,但什么也听不见。

hear 后面如果接宾语从句,常常表示“听说”。例如:

I hear some foreign students will visit our school.我听说一些外国学生将要访问我们学校。

I hear there is going to be a film in our school this evening.我听说今晚我们学校要演一场电影。

8. Let’s… /Let us…

Let’s… 和Let us… 都表示“让我们……”, 如果us 包括听话人在内,其含义相同,附带问句用shall we. 如果us 不包括听话人在内,其含义不同,Let us…的附带问句要用will you。例如:Let’s go shopping, shall we? 我们去购物好吗?

9. take/ bring/ carry /get

这四个动词都有“拿”和“带”的意思,但含义有所不同。take意为“带走”,“拿走”,bring意为“带来”,“拿来”, get表示“到别的地方把某人或某物带来或拿来”,carry不强调方向,带有负重的意思。试比较:

My parents often take me there on holidays.我父母常常带我到那里去度假。

I’m going to take you to Beijing.我准备带你去北京。Bring me a cup of tea, please.请给我端杯茶来。

I’ll bring the book to you tomorrow.明天我把那本书给你带来。The waiter carried the me to the table服务员把肉送到桌上。The monkey carried the bag on her back.猴子把那个包背在背上。She went back to get her handbag.他折回去拿他的手提包。Let me get the doctor.让我去请医生吧。

10. far away /faraway

(1)far away是一个副词短语,意思是“很远”。例如:Some are far away. Some are nearer.有些离得很远,有些离得近一些的。The village is far away from here.那个村子离这儿很远。

(2)faraway是一个形容词,意思是“遥远的”,可以在句中作定语。例如:

He lives in faraway mountain village.他住在一个遥远的小山村。

11. find / look for

find和look for 都有“找”的意思,但含义不同。find 强调“找”的结果,而look for 强调“找”的过程。请看下列例句:He is looking for his bike.他在找他的自行车。I’m looking for my watch, but can’t find it.我在找我的手表,但是找不到。I hope you will soon find your lost ring.希望你尽快找到丢失的戒指。

另外,find还有“发现”;“感到”等意思。例如:I found a wallet in the desk.我在课桌里发现了一个钱包。

I find this book very interesting.我觉得这本书很有意思。

12. in front of /in the front of

In front of 表示在某物的前面,不在某物的范围内。In the front of 表示在某物的前部,在某物的范围内。试比较:My seat is in front of Mary’s.我的座位在玛丽座位的前面。

He is sitting in the front of the car with the driver.他和司机坐在小车的前部。

㈢ 人教版八年级上英语全部知识点、语法

1.形容词和副词的比较级
(1) 一般在形容词或副词后+er

(2) 多音节词前+more

(3) 双写最后一个字母,再+er
bigger fatter, etc.
(4) 把y变i,再+er

3. there be 结构
肯定句: There is a …
There are …
一般疑问句:Is there …? Yes, there is./ No, there isn’t.
Are there…? Yes, there are. /No, there aren’t.
否定句: There isn’t …. There aren’t….
4.一般现在时:通常用 “usually, often, every day, sometimes”.
形式:
肯定句:
I go to school on foot every day.
She goes to school on foot every day.
5.现在进行时:形式: be + verb +ing
eg: I am(not) doing my homework.
You/We/They are(not) reading.
He/She/It is(not) eating.
动词 —ing 的形式
Most verbs +ing walk—walking
Verbs ending in e -e + ing come—coming
Short verbs ending in a vowel + a consonant run –running swim—swimming

1.How many + 复数名词 + are there ...?
此句型是一个特殊疑问句,意思是\"在.有多少.?\"多用来对可数名词的数量提问.How many 后面要接可数名词的复数形式.如:
How many apples are there on the table? 桌子上有多少个苹果?
2.. What about ...?
此句型意思是\".怎么样?\"、\".呢?\",通常用来询问情况或征求意见、看法等.其中的about是介词,后面可接名词、代词或动词等.如:
What about that computer? 那台电脑怎么样?
My gloves are red. What about theirs? 我的手套是红色的,他们的呢?
What about playing games after school? 放学后做游戏怎么样?
3. What time is it?/What\'s the time?
英语中,常用这两个句型来询问现在的时间,意思是\"什么时间了?\"或\"几点了?\"其答语一般用\"It\'s + 时间.\"其中的it指代时间,翻译时可不译,常在句尾加上please,以表示委婉的语气.如:
What time is it, please? 请问现在几点了?
-It's about a quarter past ten. 大约十点十五分.
4. What colour + be + 主语?
询问某物的颜色,一般用以What colour 开头的特殊疑问句,其答语通常用\"It\'s/They\'re + 表示颜色的形容词\".如:
-What colour is her blouse? 她的衬衫是什么颜色的?
-It's light blue. 是浅蓝色的.
5.Whose + 名词 + be + 其它?/Whose + be + 名词?
英语中常用这两个句型来询问某事物属谁所有.如:
Whose cup is that? 那是谁的杯子?
Whose are these photos? 这些照片是谁的?
6. It's time for + sth. /It's time to do sth. / It's time for sb. to do sth.
这个结构意思都是\"该做某事了\",\"到做某事的时候了\".如:
It's time for school. 到上学的时候了.
It\'s time to have supper. 该吃晚饭了.
7. 选择疑问句:选择疑问句是用or连接询问的两部分,以供选择,答案必须是完整的句子或其省略形式,不能用Yes或No回答
一般提出两种或两种以上的可能,问对方选择哪一种.其结构可用一般疑问句,也可用特殊疑问句.供选择的两部分用or连接,前者读升调,后者读降调.
e.g. Will you go there by bus or by train?
What would you like, coffee or tea?
How many pens do you have, one or two?
选择疑问句的答语必须是完整的句子或其省略式,不能答yes或no.
e.g. Do you go to school by bus or by bike?
By bus.
Which would you like, tea or coffee? Coffee.
一般疑问句演化来的选择疑问句
e.g. Is it right or wrong?
Were you or he there?
Are they reading, chatting or watching TV?
特殊疑问句演化来的选择疑问句
e.g. Which do you like better, coffee or milk?
What color is it, red, blue or yellow?
Where are you going, to the classroom or to the library?
or not构成的选择疑问句
e.g. Do you want to buy it or not?
Are you ready or not

8.另外,“to be + going + 动词不定式”这个特殊的结构可表示在未来即将要进行的动作.
例:He is going to tell me tomorrow - 他将在明天告诉我.

Lucy is sometimes very busy.

I can hardly say a word.

(2)有些频度副词也可位于句首,但表示不同含义

sometimes 常位于句首,和位于句中区别不大。

often 用于句首时,通常表示强调,且其前一般有quite,very 修饰
